Making Sense of Adrenal Fatigue

What do the adrenals do in the body?

Produce many of the body’s most important hormones–cortisone, cortisol, aldosterone, andostenedione, DHEA, adrenaline–also called epinephrine–norepinephrine, estrogen, progesterone, testosterone…

These in turn help to do the following….

  • Produce energy and guard against fatigue
  • Counteract the effects of mental or physical stress
  • Maintenance of libido (sex drive)
  • Regulate the metabolism of carbohydrates, and thus blood sugar level
  • Help to maintain proper electrolyte mineral balance
  • Regulate immune response
  • Improve resistance to infection and allergies
  • Reduce inflammation
  • Help in the distribution of muscle
  • Help produce restful, restorative sleep
  • Govern digestion (stomach acid production) and elimination (colon)

“Once I started supporting my adrenals, like you suggested, I haven’t had one day of heartburn!”

-Melissa Ellens Dupuis

“Have never felt this good or had this much energy.  I wish I would have known about this supplement 30 years ago.  I feel like I’ve slept most of my life away.”

-Alice Joines Steele

“Anyone looking for some alternatives to traditional medicine, this is a guy to get in touch with!  I was tired ALL the time, wasn’t sleeping well, dealing with depression/anxiety, and got migraines frequently.  Traditional medicine wasn’t helping.  After a couple of months on the supplements Dave recommended I felt like a new person.  Thanks Dave Frahm!”

-Katie Tasker Williams

“Dave, I am just so excited I cannot see straight.  In 1.5 months of following your nutrition battle plan I have been able to go out at night 3 times without collapsing for days.  The previous six months were mostly spent in bed feeling awful and in a deep brain fog.  Thank you for giving me my life back.

-Holly Nelson

“Dave, I consulted with you a week ago, and am implementing my dietary battle plan as we speak.  After only one week on the supplements, my hand tremors have stopped completely!!!  My energy and vitality has also greatly improved.  I’m about to go do Zumba.  I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart.  Seeing such quick results has given me unspeakable hope.  The future looks bright.  Thank you sir!”

-Lisa Liesenfeld Lorance

“No more borderline or high blood pressure, huge improvement in brain fog, 30 plus lbs. gone, bathroom issues resolved, greatly reduced sinues issues, overall sense of well being and just feeling better in general.  Oh, and my insatiable carb craving went away too.  Hormonal issues resolved.  No prescription meds for me.  Just doing what Dave says now, and feeling better than I have in a very long time!  Best $ I have spent in many a year.  Maybe ever!”

-Kim Cullins Prewitt

“Thank you again for the consultation last month.  After just a few weeks I am beginning to feel better than I have felt in years.  I can’t believe the emotional stability and increased energy that have come as a result of the supplements you suggested.  I’m excited as I’m beginning to see the hope of feeling better.”

LICENSING STATUS: Because of the way the new law governing Naturopathic Doctors here in Colorado has been written (House Bill 13-1111), my education does not qualify me to be licensed, certified, or registered by the state as a Naturopathic Doctor. Only those who attended Naturopathic medical schools can be licensed. My training was in historical/traditional naturopathy…which is entirely non-medical. That said, according to Senate Bill 13-215 I am free to continue helping people as I always have (nutritional consulting), but I can’t use the ND designation that I earned from Trinity, nor call myself a Dr. I can use the designation of Naturopath/Nutritionist.

OTHER LEGAL ISSUES: You need to know that part of the law states that I am to instruct you to discuss any of my recommendations with your primary care physician and/or other licensed health care professionals from whom you’re seeking help. You also need to know that I carry no liability insurance applicable to any injury caused by any of my advice.
